While we do everything within our power to prevent the occurrence of pimples and the consequent pimple marks they leave behind; it’s time you realized the cause of pimples and what  they indicate about your health.

Lifestyle: The main cause of pimples

The causes and real reasons behind pimples are much more deep-rooted in our lifestyle and are due to the various internal health issues of the body.
You must have noticed that you are breaking out in particular areas, like the forehead or around the nose. These breakouts reveal vital clues about your body’s internal health.

Face mapping- Indicating issues that are more than skin deep

As per the technique of Face mapping, every point on your face is connected to an internal organ of the body! So, a breakout on a certain part of your face could be linked to specific imbalances within the body.
We have listed down the various areas on the face where you could be breaking out and its consequent relation to your internal health.

Pimples on the forehead

Why it happens:
Pimple breakouts on the forehead are often associated with the digestive system. This means that the food isn’t taken on time or isn’t getting digested properly. Also, the harmful toxins are not getting out of the system which leads to indigestion and various issues like liver problems, stress, irritation, etc.

How to prevent it:
To prevent this, try drinking a glass of lukewarm water and lemon early in the morning and maintain a healthy food regime. Make sure you get 8 hours of sleep and drink lots of water through the day. This will gradually lessen the breakouts. Also, avoid eating junk and packaged food.

You also have to reduce your stress levels and make sure you take your meals at the right time. Do not eat dinner too late or skip any meals. Also, try working out to increase the blood circulation and remove toxins.

Pimples on the T-Zone

Why it happens:
While pimples on the cheeks are the most common, their cause can be linked to a variety of reasons. The most prominent reasons are hormonal imbalances, stomach problems and ailments of the lungs.

My skincare routine

My skincare routine

I’d like to share my current skincare routine which consists of a salicylic acid face wash since I have an acne-prone skin. This is followed by applying a DIY toner – which I make by mixing two strands of saffron in rose water and lastly I apply Bajaj Nomarks anti marks cream to clear up my spots and pigmentation. In addition to this, whenever I’m heading outdoors, I make sure to use a sunscreen to protect my skin from the UVA and UVB rays. My night-time routine is pretty much the same, except for the sunscreen. I can say my skin has been improving a lot by following this routine – my pimples are under control and the pigmentation has cleared up to a large extent. I’d like to give a special mention to my DIY toner and definitely to the Bajaj Nomarks antimarks cream!

I hope this blog post has helped you understand the significance of pimples on the different parts of your face! This will help you make lifestyle changes to improve your health. Meanwhile, you can use a cream like the Bajaj Nomarks anti marks cream to treat the marks caused by pimples and get a clear, glowing complexion.
